Interface updates

The MIUI 12 update aims to bring a smoother experience for Xiaomi smartphone users. The update comes with system-wide animations and visualisations. The App drawer helps the interface automatically sort the applications by their categories. It also brings the system-wide Dark Mode which can adjust automatically as per the ambient lighting.

Apart from revamped icons, the calendar app has been updated to deliver better-designed cards for every important event. With the Super Wallpaper feature, MIUI 12 provides reconstructions of planetary landforms using NASA's official imagery. Users can set these as the home screen, lock screen and always-on display. The new weather app in MIUI 12 recreates the current climate in the UI.
