Man killed by robot that confused him for a box of vegetables

A man in South Korea was crushed to death by a robot while working at a distribution center. The machine failed to differentiate him from the boxes of produce it was handling and mistakenly identified him as a vegetable box. The robot arm grabbed him and pushed his upper body against a conveyor belt, resulting in fatal injuries. This is the second incident of its kind reported in South Korea this year. The incident highlights the need for a precise and safe system to be established in such workplaces.
