
Microsoft's Dee Templeton, the company's vice president for technology and research partnerships and operations, has joined OpenAI's board as a nonvoting observer. Templeton's appointment comes after a boardroom overhaul following the brief ouster of OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman. She has already started attending board meetings and is part of a broader effort to enlarge the board. Microsoft, OpenAI's biggest investor, has committed $13 billion to the company and integrated its products into its core businesses.
